OFID Grants for Sustainable Food Production and Resilient Agriculture in Least-developed countries
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – the global blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all – pledge to end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture by 2030 under SDG 2.
OFID works to support SDG 2 through promoting sustainable food production and more resilient agriculture across the world. At the end of 2018, OFID’s cumulative commitments to the agriculture sector stood at US$3,142.5m, or 13.7% of the organization’s total commitments.
