At the end of the harvest, the cherry tree field that was treated with KPB technology obtained a 25% increase in yield as compared to the control field.

KPB Yield: 23,438 kilograms (kg)

23,438 kg x $6 per kg = $140,628

Control Yield: 18,735 kilograms

18,735 kg x $5 per kg = $93,675

KPB technology increased cherry yields and the improved quality allowed for the cherries to be able to be sold for an extra dollar per kilogram, leading to an additional profit of $46,953 per hectare for the farmer.
