Last year, I planted Tillage Radish the middle of October. The first week of November brought a few nights of hard freeze. Lost the whole crop of radishes. Any opinions on the latest safe date to plant radishes in the Pee Dee?

Check with @Brent Gandy but I think they may have a better variety for us this year. That being said, tough to get a lot of growth if the temperature doesn't cooperate.

Hello! In MD they recommend planting in August, but that isn't realistic for most grain farmers, so the latest date for incentives is Sept 15. I planted my radish the third week of September and they are decent this year, but I would try for a week or two earlier in most years when possible.
