Looks like a great project. We installed our first dryer last year and it paid huge dividends during harvest in terms of efficiency and harvest timing.

interesting, what brand of grain dryer did you install?

We got a GSI 1112 from a farmer who ordered a larger one. We ran it mostly on their auto setting for continuous flow. The only problems we ran into was with the load auger motor burning up multiple times. We're replacing the load auger with a versaloop and hope to fix our issues. Unfortunately we're single phase electrical around our bins and that had a lot to do with our motor issues.

those competitor control dryers are good dryers, we sold a lot of them new back wthey were made. wet augers must have 2/3rd pitch flight on tail 30" of auger or they never work correctly and you need to try adjusting slide gate to make work properly.
