"Ryan Sullivan and his dad, Mike Sullivan, rotate most of their rice with soybeans on their farm in the northeast Arkansas Delta near Burdette. That frequently means tearing down the 38-inch beds they use for planting twin row soybeans in the fall so they can plant their rice in the spring – and then build levees in it so they can flood their rice. Ryan Sullivan talked about their decision to try to eliminate some of that expense and worry by experimenting with furrow-irrigated or row rice in this video from the National Conservation Systems Cotton and Rice Conference in Baton Rouge, La."
